"In dog years I'm dead."

My last two dogs have been pointers now-an English Setter and now a German Shorthair.  I ran Springers for years, but with the amount of CRP and native grasslands in South Dakota, it is practical to use pointers to keep the birds honest and tight.  Of course I always use beepers, which alert me when they are on point if I cannot see them.  Thoughts?

That is how I hunt grouse and pheasant - with a beeper collar.  I had also used on my previous GSP as well.
