Lets Show Some Love For the Labs.

I know that labs are not the most desireable dogs for hardcore upland hunters.  But here in KS where we hunt everything that flies, its pretty hard to beat a good lab.  I might be a little bias since I grew up hunting behind some damn fine labs.  Not to knock other breeds, Ive seen great dogs of all kinds, but everyone has thier favorites.  I was gonna post some pics of my girl Annie, but couldnt figure it out.  So lets hear some good lab stories! My personal favorite moment was when my pup brought a pheasant to my hand at 5 months. Cant wait till season opens in november, hope she doesnt get the terrible twos!

I like labs, but some people find their size the limiting factor.  Everything is bigger with them-from food dollars to poop!     But seriously, they are a great versatile dog, with the ability to hunt upland and waterfowl in all kinds of conditions. 

And you are right-everyone has their opinions on breeds-I personally think all gun dogs rock!
